- CWCara Witte-Fusinato3 days ago2.0I had a cake made, white cake, simple graphic picture, not photo but graphic. They produced the absolutely ugliest cake I have ever seen. They put the picture on with no piping around it so you see the edges of the graphic just in the middle of the cake. It's off-center even and not straight. It even has a wrinkle through the picture so it is distorted. My husband picked it up and didn't say anything to them. Now, I have to try and salvage a birthday cake on my own. I am ashamed to serve this cake in front of friends, family, and dignitaries. Bad choice using this bakery. EDIT: Attached are before as we received the cake and after some added sanding sugar sprinkles to try and salvage to get through the event. I also reached out to Vons through their website. I am just hoping it tastes good! EDIT EDIT: The cake was delicious though and everyone loved it! Whipped cream/white cake/strawberry layer.

- JAJes AguDec 27, 20251.0Vons on Clovis Ave and Cesar Chavez (Sunnyside area), Fresno, CA I observed multiple food safety concerns at the deli counter. The area was unattended with a sign stating staff would return in 30 minutes. During this time, uncovered deli meat was left on the counter, cheese was left inside the slicer, and a half-prepared chicken was left out in the back area without refrigeration. Food and equipment were left exposed with no employee present. These conditions present a risk of contamination and improper temperature control. I did not make a purchase. I hope management takes notice and that changes are made to ensure proper food safety practices.
