There was a cashier and the food prep - but no one seated us, no one took our orders, and no one brought us our food - we had to do all that on our own! The food itself was good - but a bit overpriced. Honestly - I only went because I had a gift card.

Service is good; minimal interaction with staff other than ordering (if you order from register) and picking up food, fast food style. Drinks are self-served. Like most paneras, they do have self serve kiosks --AND-- tipping is not expected (minimal staff interaction/self serve) Only gripe is I'm not a big fan of sandwiches, soups, and salads. I go there because my wife wants to go. Rated 5 because store and food is good overall; in general I just don't want to eat at a restaurant where everything on the menu feels like a side dish.
