  From the moment we walked into Daddy Ji, we knew we were in for something special — and everything we tried more than delivered. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. We started with the Veg Pakora, and what a way to kick things off — golden, light, perfectly crisp on the outside, and bursting with fresh vegetable flavor inside. Paired with their tangy chutney, it was a sublime appetizer. Next came Daddy Ji’s House Tikka. The boneless chicken breast is beautifully marinated in spices, then slow-cooked in the tandoor. Each piece was tender, smoky, and deeply flavorful — a true highlight of the meal. And oh, the Garlic Naan! Steaming hot, pillowy-soft, with just the right amount of garlicky richness. It was the perfect vehicle for soaking up the sauce from the main dishes. When the Dynamite with Chicken arrived, it was like fireworks on our plates — the house’s spicy curry sauce sang with bold heat, yet there was balance. The chicken was succulent and cooked just right, absorbing all that deep, spicy goodness. But the real showstopper was the Ghee Roast with Chicken. Rich, aromatic, buttery — this dish tasted like it had been lovingly simmered with warm spices and fragrant curry leaves. The ghee added a luxurious depth, and the chicken was melt-in-your-mouth tender. Overall, Daddy Ji offered an outstanding dining experience: vibrant flavors, generous portions, and thoughtful cooking. If you’re in Claremont (or willing to make the trip), do yourself a favor and go — your taste buds will thank you. We can’t wait to come back and explore more of their menu.

  Food is really good, one of the best Saag Paneers I've ever had. Some other dishes (like Kadai) were acceptable, but a bit bland. They do not serve alcohol (not even beer). The biggest con of this place is the (lack of) air conditioning - you're going carry those kitchen smells on you for the rest of your day.

  I felt a pleasant sense of familiarity: the warmly coloured décor, friendly staff, and an aroma of spices that escorted me straight into something between street-food energy and neighbourhood comfort. The restaurant intelligently balances casual and slightly elevated a fitting choice for a diner in my “everyday” mode who values both flavour and approachability. The décor nods to its truck-roots (there’s a cool mural of their old food-truck) and yet the seating and finish communicate a sit-down comfort. Overall an amazing experience as the waiter asked me about my background and was interested more than just serving me. As it was my first time I would very much recommend going there again with family & or significant other. The butter chicken and tikka masala were both rich in flavour and well-executed; one reviewer highlighted the “mildly spiced, but full of flavour chicken tikka masala.

  This was my very first time dining at an Indian restaurant, and all I can say is—WOW! Everything about Finest Indian Cuisine truly lives up to its name. The food, atmosphere, and service were exceptional from start to finish. A special shout-out to Kash, our amazing server and host. We had no idea what to order, but she took the time to ask about our favorite proteins, veggies, spice levels, and flavors. Based on that, she guided us perfectly—her recommendations were spot-on! We enjoyed the Veg Samosa, Lamb Chops, Chicken Ghee Roast, Garlic Naan, and Rice—each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Portions were generous, the wait time was surprisingly short even though the restaurant was busy, and Kash checked on us at just the right moments—never intrusive, always attentive. The atmosphere had a warm, upbeat vibe that made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be back for more. Thank you for such an amazing introduction to Indian cuisine!
