Here’s a little story of what occurred and not sure if it’s illegal from there side but I need to mention this somewhere I had a very frustrating experience at this Subway location and feel it needs to be addressed. When I arrived, there was only one employee working, and no manager present. The employee had to use her personal phone to call her manager for help, which already shows a lack of proper support and organization from management. Over the phone, the manager refused to provide her name and even said she didn’t know who her boss was. While she sounded polite, the situation quickly became confusing and unprofessional. The main issue was that they refused to cancel my order. I was told that the “boss” does not allow cancellations, yet no one could explain who that boss is. What made this even more frustrating is that few minutes beforehand, I accidentally placed an order at a Subway in Colton, and they were able to cancel and refund it immediately with no issues. I received confirmation right away. Showed it to the employee that it was cancelled with no issue. Instead of helping, the manager instructed me to call my bank to cancel the charge and said I would “probably” get my money back within a week. That advice felt completely inappropriate. The fact that she mentioned " I do this every time and I assure this will 100% work for you too". Customers should not be told to dispute charges with their bank for something the store should be able to handle directly. On top of that, we had already spent over an hour trying to resolve a simple order issue involving basic ingredients like green peppers, onions, and sriracha sauce, which we were told would somehow change the price. At that point, we just wanted a refund, but were still refused. I don’t want to give up on Subway, especially in Walnut, but this experience felt disorganized and poorly managed. There needs to be better communication, proper staffing, and clear policies for handling refunds and customer concerns. I hope management or the Boss takes this seriously and improves the way this location is run. I fear people will really want this restaurant to close. But Serivce is needing to be worked on.

I think the employees at this subway hit their job. They’re not very friendly very stingy when you ask for them just to put a tiny bit more it act like they act like it’s a burden. I don’t know why this location and these employees are not very friendly I had a free subway foot-long according to the app, but when they ran my phone number, I had to pay the full price for the sandwich then they told me with an attitude that oh it’s only online well there’s nothing saying that it needs to be done online but when I come back to this location, absolutely not unless they change their attitude or the Management looks into it the sandwiches themselves. They gave me look to give me the most wilted lettuce, and they found the most ugliest pepperoni to put on my sandwich. So for the price I paid for the sandwich and the service absolutely one star.

This Subway 'restaurant' deserves all the bad reviews that they have here on Yelp. I'm surprised to see they're still in business after such bad publicity. This, Subway could probably win the WORST SUBWAY award, in the category of bad Subways on the planet. I've been here a total of 4 times and 3 experiences out of 4, were a total train wreck. Never have I experienced anything like that, anywhere else combined, let alone, at the same restaurant. At this Subway, everything that can go wrong, will ! First time, the cash register stopped working. Staff tried calling multiple people. I was wondering where the owner was !!?? The owner of this Subway, genuinely raises the bar for the term 'absentee owne. The line and wait got so long that people (and us) were finally told after 30 long minutes, that they could not be served. We all just left hungry. Ok, not their fault if the registers don't work. However, similar issue at another Subway in Diamond Bar, and they were able to make things work. Second time, they ran out of veggie patty. Subway meat sucks. The one thing that they have going for them, they don't have anymore. Great ! Third was not so bad. Used a coupon, got what I ordered, couldn't complain ! Fourth time, today, was surreal ! Lady couldn't understand what I was speaking, refused everything I asked, didn't want to answer any questions, refused to give extra meat even though I offered to pay for it and annoyingly kept saying NO to every little thing. I had to tell her 3 times to scoop out the bread and even then she only scooped out, one side out of 2. Portions were skimpy as always and the bread was barely heated (reading other similar reviews of cold sandwiches, I believe their toaster is broken but they don't want to admit or fix it). Ultimately, what we got was a cold sandwich bread, with the cold vegetables smudged between a refrigerated veggie patty, along with stringy and rubbery cheese that wasn't melted, but was rather sticking to the patty because of being compressed by the weight of the vegetables and the bread, served by unbelievably rude staff. Subway, if you are reading this, please have some dignity and close this 'restaurant' after getting such poor reviews. The only thing they have going for them is that they are next to In-N-Out and Chipotle

I mainly order for pick-up. Sometimes I will have 1 or 2 topping incorrect, but overall pretty good. Always courteous for me. In month of March and 1st half of April 2023, ordered about 8 times from here. But temp closed now according to Google.
