  Authentic Flavors and Incredible Barbacoa! I had an amazing experience at Aqui Es Texcoco. If you are looking for authentic Mexican barbacoa, this is the place to be. The lamb was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. I especially loved the consome and the fresh handmade tortillas. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone craving traditional Mexican cuisine!

  They serve halal chicken and lamb! We did take out from here and it was delicious! The barbacoa plates were so tasty, the spicy onions were fire! A must add to your taco. These plates were essentially deconstructed tacos - so make your own and the staff packed it super well for our take out order. The inside is big, spacious and had many families inside. Lots of parking.

  This is a new update 4/9/26 I went back again today and I truly won't go back again they are going down in quality the meat on the tacos was way too salty I had to put lemon on the tacos to kind of compensate for the saltines and the broth I bought again for the 2nd time on different days has no flavor they are watering it down so much that the flavor is gone , I called them this time because it was to go and I'm sure they would have re issue the food but what for if it is going to be the same so I just let them know how bad the food was I use to love the food served here I won't recommend this place the next paragraph was a previous review The actual food is great usually today my broth had no flavor and most of the time the meat they give on the tacos , tostadas , the meat in general comes with bones included you have to be very careful if you are going to feed your kids or when biting not to brake a tooth or choke ,I even was serves a leaf used as a condiment like I said usually it is very delicious except for the bones this is most of the time .

  Great unique food but might get nickel and dimed... charged $4 for "fresh" water, and charged twice for tip. I wasnt told about the service charge (mandatory tip), and they never brought us the receipt, then asked to tip again at the counter (on the credit card screen) felt rushed to pay bill without checking it, at the counter. I was going to come back but not sure now. Felt like I got caught in a tourist trap (-1.5 stars for that), but the lamb head was great 👍
