  Title: Exceptional Customer Service from Lacey & Evelyn at Albertsons – Truly Above and Beyond Today I experienced the kind of customer service that stays with you. I was trying to place an online grocery order from Albertsons and, despite my best efforts, I just couldn’t figure it out on my iPhone. I finally called the store at 720 3rd Ave. in Chula Vista and spoke with a manager named Lacey (I hope I’m spelling that correctly). What happened next absolutely amazed me. Lacey spent 45 minutes on the phone with me — patiently, kindly, and professionally walking me through every single step of placing an online order. When I couldn’t find an item, she explained why it wasn’t showing up and what it was listed under. When something didn’t match what she saw on her computer, she even pulled out her own iPhone to see exactly what I was seeing. She went so far as to physically check the shelves to confirm whether an item was in stock before I added it to my order. Her patience, her kindness, and her willingness to meet me where I was — it was remarkable. I have truly never had anyone take that much time to help me with such grace and professionalism. Later that evening, I called and spoke with Evelyn, who manages the team that fills the online orders. She was just as warm and helpful, taking the time to explain the process and reassure me about how everything works. Two managers, both going out of their way to help a customer they didn’t know. I have never experienced customer service at this level in my life. Albertsons should be incredibly proud to have Lacey and Evelyn representing their store. They turned what could have been a frustrating day into a genuinely uplifting one. They deserve every bit of recognition for the extraordinary service they provided.

  The garlic bread was not in the bakery section where you would think it would be but placed way over in the soup aisle for some reason. Also one of the bag salads that wasn't supposed to expire till February 25th was completely rotten! Also when I was putting away my groceries I noticed that one of the items I bought was missing! I bought a package of Bombay Potatoes but they weren't included with my other grocery items. I called to complain but the manager said I would have to go all the way back there and I'm disabled so I have to take public transportation which takes over an hour, so I'll just have to chalk it up as a loss but has also caused me to mistrust them now. I don't like being ripped off especially since I'm on a limited income. If you do shop there make sure they pack all of your groceries and look closely to see if the salads are actually still good so you don't get scammed like I did. I will probably try Sprouts next time I'm over there ☹️
