I’ve been wanting to try Take Ur Seat for a while, so I was excited to finally check it out. It’s definitely a popular spot in Chino Hills, and there’s usually a wait. You check in using a kiosk at the entrance, which is simple enough, but just a heads up—there’s no real waiting area inside. Seating outside is very limited, and there’s little to no shade, so be prepared if you’re coming during warmer hours.
The menu has a wide variety of options, which was promising. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the hype for me. Everything we tried came out pretty bland and lacked the flavor I was expecting, especially given how busy the place is.
Overall, I really wanted to like this spot, but it just didn’t meet my expectations—and for the wait, it didn’t feel worth it.
