The have done really well at keeping up with other fast food restaurants. I dare say their quality is top 3 among the rest of other fast food restaurants.

Growing up eating Arby’s roast beef sandwiches with my parents was always a treat. Today I stopped by to check out its latest creation, Steak Nuggets. The result was not pleasant. The nuggets looked nothing like the photo at the counter. See the first two pictures in this review. The flavor tasted akin to some unimaginative BBQ sauce and yet photo looked like it was in original flavor and tender. Further, the small pieces were way overcooked and the pseudo-BBQ sauce was not good at all. Yes, they tasted as bad as the picture looked. I tried them in Arby sauce to mask the poor flavor, and that helped a little. Arby’s headquarters needs to fire the person who came up with the recipe for the Steak Nuggets. I think the idea of offering steak was a good one and it lured me to Arby’s for the first time this year. But it was pricy for 9 tiny pieces (smaller than McNuggets, if that’s even possible), at $12.99 plus tax, and it’s a good thing that no tip was needed. So very disappointed with Arby’s latest creation. I still gave this place a 4* despite the awful steak nuggets because its roast beef has a place in my heart (or stomach in this case). I understand that all the old time fast food chains needed to revitalize themselves to stay in the game, but the steak nuggets were an utter failure.
