This review is for the pharmacy. I really wish I could give a higher rating because most of the staff here have always been kind to me and done their best to help, but it seems like the major issues are beyond their control. I really dread going here because the communication is nonexistent and wait times are horrible. When an Rx can’t be filled (out of stock, PA expired, etc.) they will NEVER notify you. Not a phone call or an automated text. Once I resolve the issue with the doctor or it’s back in stock, the pharmacy never fills it without me calling again and listening to the excessive automated ads before I can be put on hold. As someone who has multiple medications to keep track of, this is incredibly frustrating and I usually run out of a medication every month. Staff don’t seem well-trained in how the notifications work and I’ve been given incorrect/conflicting information each time I ask why this happens, so the problem has never been solved. If you’re lucky enough to have the Rx filled, expect to wait 15+ mins in line even if there’s only 1 person ahead of you. On many occasions I’ve waited an hour or more. You’ll wait 20 mins in line and when you finally get to the front, they’ll say your order isn’t ready yet. You wait in your car, come back and wait 20 mins in line again. I really wish there was a better option close to home.

I’m not usually the type to leave a complaint, but I felt compelled to share my recent experience due to how unpleasant it was. I called Albertsons with the intention of being connected to the UPS store located inside. I was directed to customer service, where a representative named Corina answered the phone. I asked if I could be transferred to the UPS store, and she explained that their phone system doesn’t allow for that kind of connection. My concern isn’t about the limitations of their phone system—that’s understandable—but rather with Corina’s demeanor during the interaction. From the beginning, she was dismissive, unwelcoming, and seemed rushed to get off the call. When I asked if she could provide the UPS store’s phone number, she responded, “I guess I can Google it for you,” in a tone that was noticeably rude. When I asked if the number she would be giving me was a direct line or just a general contact, she began talking over me, raising her voice and not allowing me to finish my question. The line then disconnected. When I called back, I initially wasn’t sure if it was the same person, but she quickly made it clear by saying, “It’s me. Did you want the number? I tried to give it to you, but you hung up.” Again, her tone was unnecessarily confrontational and accusatory. At that point, I told her I no longer needed the number, and I tried to ask for someone else to assist me—but before I could finish, she hung up on me. I called a third time, and a gentleman answered the phone. I asked to speak with a manager, and he connected me to Roman. I truly appreciated Roman taking the time to hear me out regarding the experience. I don’t know what actions, if any, will come of it, but I felt it was important to let someone know. When you call a customer service line, you expect at the very least to be treated with respect and courtesy. Unfortunately, that was not the case with Corina. I hope this feedback leads to improved training or attention to how customers are treated.
