  I’ve been here several times now and each time it’s been an amazing experience with great food great service and a very friendly atmosphere. Today I had the patty melt, and it was totally delicious. Served quickly with a smile. Recently, I had the steak salad, which was very flavorful fresh and cooked to perfection. And I’ve had the pastrami sandwich a couple of times which is by far my favorite pastrami sandwich in town! If you’re a food you like me, you’ll give this place a try and I’m sure you’ll love it!

  The habanero pineapple pulled pork sandwich was yummy and spicy. The brownie was also good (not cakey). The food was great, but giving 4 stars because: the service was meh, no friendliness and a bit ignored while waiting patiently to order and the bathroom was yucky. For atmosphere it’s dark inside or outside patio for seating options.

  What a find! This little cafe is really special. The owner and staff were so friendly when I walked in and they all stood around with me talking about menu items, their favorites, etc. The kitchen was quick and the steak salad was one of the best I have ever had. The steak on top was a huge portion, cooked a perfect medium, and well seasoned. They add papdew peppers to the usual toppings which gives a layer of sweet-spicy to everything that really made this salad special. I am so glad this place popped up on my radar! I will definitely be back next time I come through Chico.

  Absolutely LOVE the Mother Clucker sandwich, and paired perfectly with the Tot Rockets and White Russian "Boozy Shake" is my guilty pleasure.

  Wow, what a wonderful treasure on the outskirts of Chico. The food is top notch and well portioned. Very kind people who care about the food they make and serve! My teenage son and I both really enjoyed (and finished off) our steak lunches. He ordered the steak fries and I got the steak salad. Both were surprisingly tasty and filling. I was expecting mostly salad with a little beef on top and was treated to a whole steak instead! Thanks for being the highlight of our bike ride out to the airport!
