Terrible customer service from your employee on self checkout that calls himself NERRO. He is rude, aggressive and intimidating. He absolutely should not be placed in a position to deal with customers. Also, why are there only 2 lanes open for check out with 15 people waiting at each? The produce department is a mess, y'all need to clean out where you are putting refig vegetables, there's rotten food everywhere. And no French loaves at all. All in all, atrocious experience and will never come back to this location.

So prices are out of control everywhere you go and the places I used to go to for a sandwich are out of the question based off price so I elected to go to Safeway's deli. It was a tad cheaper than Togo's and although they dont offer the range of Togo's the simple sandwiches like turkey Italian ham and cheese are a good value. What pushed it over the top was the hispanic younger kid that made my sandwich on Monday around 11am. He was so friendly and positive and cheerful it made me uncomfortable because you never see folks that helpful and kind. It wasnt an act. He really was just that nice. Made me realize how cynical I had become and it grounded me seeing a fella so happy and helpful making a sandwich. Certainly changed the direction regarding mood of my day. The Italian toasted sandwich was bad either......

I use to live this Safeway and was my go to store. The past few weeks I’ve gone and noticed they always smell moldy in the refrigerator section. Today I was so bad I finally looked in. They had low stock so I could see the bottom more than usual. I was disgusted to see how much mold was just floating around in there. At the bottom of every egg carton at the bottom of every cream cheese rested a fuzzy layer of mold. These pictures were taken the day. I’m posting this. They need to fix this ASAP and stay on top of it. Highly recommend looking and reporting it too so they know we expect better as a community and for our homes.

I never experienced being racially profiled before. The way the closing front end manager accused me of stealing is ridiculous. At 7:55 PM 12/08/25 I was scanning my items in self check out. After paying for my items. The manager came running outside and accused me stealing two sodas I clearly paid for. He told me I only paid for 1 Pepsi and not the rest of sodas. He starts to take away my sodas from my cart. When I told the manager I paid for all 3 of the sodas he starts telling me I didn’t and did not want to return the sodas back in my cart. When I showed him the receipt he wants to apologize and say it was a miss understanding. I work hard for my money and there is not a reason for myself to steal anything. That was an embarrassing moment for something I didn’t do. The manager printed out a duplicate receipt but still accused me of stealing. This something a customer should never experience.
