  A Gem in Castro Valley! "If you are looking for authentic, flavorful Indian cuisine in Castro Valley, Phulkari is the place to go. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and the aromas from the kitchen were incredible. The service truly sets this place apart. Our server, Aniket, was absolutely wonderful—attentive, friendly, and gave us the perfect recommendations for our spice level. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality! We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Aman, who clearly takes immense pride in the quality of the food and the satisfaction of his guests. He went out of his way to make sure we were enjoying our evening, which added a lovely personal touch to the meal. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Indian food or trying it for the first time, you are in great hands here. We will definitely be back!"

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | A Local Treasure for Authentic Indian Cuisine! If you are looking for the best Indian food in the East Bay, look no further than Phulkari. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, but it’s the food and the service that truly set this place apart. The Food The flavors here are incredibly authentic and layered. We tried the Butter Chicken and the Lamb Rogan Josh, and both were cooked to perfection—tender meat and rich, vibrant sauces. The garlic naan was fresh out of the oven, and you can tell they use high-quality ingredients in every dish. The Service What made our night extra special was the service. Our server, Aniket, was absolutely wonderful. He was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. His recommendations were spot on! The Hospitality It was also a pleasure to meet the owner, Aman. You can really tell he cares about his customers and takes immense pride in the restaurant. He goes out of his way to make everyone feel like a guest in his own home, which creates such a welcoming community vibe. Phulkari is a must-visit in Castro Valley! Great food, beautiful presentation, and a team that genuinely cares. We will definitely be back soon.

  the pizza-naan combo with makhni sauce was out of this world.. the food smelled like home .they owners were warm and such good conversationalist.

  I placed a pick up order for this restaurant and I it was super quick and easy to grab my food. No wait at all and they even kept my food in an insulated bag to make sure it was hot when I came by. The cashier was super friendly. The food was delicious and the portions are generous. Amazing place, will come back again and again.
