The cake looked fine on the outside, but once we cut into it, it had a strange taste and a slimy texture. Everyone at the party noticed it — it completely ruined the birthday moment. When I went back to the store to let them know, the person in the bakery casually said it happens often. That was shocking to hear. If this is a known issue, it’s unacceptable that they’re still selling these cakes. I expected quality and freshness, not something spoiled. Definitely won’t be buying from their bakery again.
