  We had to change meal plans last minute and ended up at Cava and didnt know what to expect,but what we got was friendly and patient service, and tasty food! The kids meals were well balanced and kid approved. The harissa honey chicken avocado bowl was amazing! The flavors and portion size were also on point. I'm happy to have found this place and will visit again.

  I have been to many of the locations - this one in a mall in San Fernando Valley. Parking plentiful if spread out. Nice layout and both indoor and outdoor seating (covered as well). Love the food. Vegetarian so I look for places like this. And it meets all my needs, quality, freshness and flavor. I will return there again.

  So this was my first time at Cava, but it won't be my last, it was amazing!! My bowl was soooooo good and everything was fresh but what really stood out to me was the customer service. Ricky was awesome!!! I think he's the manager, if not, definitely should be. He picked up on this being my first time lol and provided great suggestions and answered all my questions. Overall just a great experience; good food, friendly staff, and clean. Will be back!

  I used to really like CAVA—the customizable bowls, fresh ingredients, and Mediterranean flavors made it a go-to spot for quick, healthy-ish meals. My first few visits to this Carson location were solid, which is why I kept coming back. Unfortunately, things have gone downhill fast. The food was straight-up terrible this last time. The lamb meatballs (or “lamb balls” as some call them) were especially bad—stinky and off-tasting, like they weren’t fresh or properly prepped. It ruined the whole bowl for me. Portions have shrunk to a ridiculous level. What used to feel like a satisfying, filling meal now looks skimpy and overpriced for what you get. You’re paying premium prices for what feels like half the amount from before. And the service? Painfully slow. We stood in line for a solid 45 minutes with no real reason—no massive rush, no obvious issues, just inefficiency. The staff seemed overwhelmed or understaffed, but either way, it made the wait frustrating. This was my final visit to this location. It’s clear the quality has dropped significantly since it opened, and it’s not worth the time or money anymore. I’ll stick to other CAVA spots or skip it altogether. Avoid if you’re expecting the same experience from earlier visits.

  There wasn’t much of a line, yet it still took about 30 minutes to receive our food and another five minutes just to check out. The cashier walked away without saying anything and came back later, which added to the delay. I also noticed that the forks had juice spilled all over them. Overall, this experience was disappointing. Cava locations are usually much better run than this, and this one could definitely benefit from stronger leadership and attention to detail.
