Poor selection and dirty displays. It just looks like nobody cares. The deli employees are skilled only in ignoring customers. They seem always to be “busy in the back”. Rude when they finally respond. Expired packaged meats every time I check. Bakery is dirty. Many aisles neglected and messy. Cashier fails to greet or say thank you. Baggers seem to hate their jobs. Parking lot is filthy, and the sidewalks are never cleaned. I’ve given up on Safeway. I shop at Forklift now. Clean and friendly. Aaaand, it appears that all of these "responses" from Safeway are AI generated, and that's just one more reason I no longer shop there.
