Terrible experience at this Topgolf. First, they don’t accept Apple Pay and didn’t tell us until we tried to pay, so we had to run downstairs to the car just to grab cash. Our server was nowhere to be found, and when we asked another staff member for help, he was extremely rude and acted annoyed. When I asked for the check, the server repeated “You want bill?” in a mocking tone, clearly making fun of our English. Completely unacceptable. We paid in cash, but they refused to give us the small change back at the table and sent us from floor to floor. Front desk staff looked at us like we were stupid and didn’t explain anything. Terrible service, unprofessional attitude, and zero respect. Never coming back.

I just witnessed a terrible experience while being at tg for a birthday party for a 12 year old. The person responsible for our area was rude and I could hear him talking in a way that no one should be allowed especially a person in this position. Food came late… no effort was made to address the problem. I’m sure that some people have had a good experience at tg but after witnessing this I can only say that you take a chance of not getting what you paid for!! I personally will never go back.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent experience my family and I had with Andrew, the manager at your Burlingame location. We were there to celebrate my son’s birthday, and unfortunately, the interactions we had with Andrew left us feeling disrespected and extremely dissatisfied. This was a family gathering, and at no point were we being loud or disruptive. I have visited this location multiple times and have never been treated this way. We later asked to speak to a manager because we were being incorrectly charged on the screen, and only half the menu was available, and our server was overwhelmed and unable to help. Instead of addressing our concerns or offering assistance, Andrew spoke to us in a way that felt rude and dismissive. This turned an already stressful situation into something far worse. As parents were dropping off children and simply saying hello and goodbye, Andrew repeatedly approached us to remind us that no more than eight people were allowed per bay. While I understand the need to follow policies, the way he addressed us felt intrusive and unnecessarily aggressive. Instead of offering a polite reminder or helping us find a solution, he continued approaching us in a way that felt more like harassment than customer service, and he repeatedly threatened that he would cancel the party. I happened to know the group in the two bays next to our two bays, and with their permission, some of us gathered in their area. Andrew then confronted them and questioned whether we had approval to be there, something they confirmed. Considering that we now had four bays available, allowing for a total capacity of 32 people, we were well within reasonable limits. Andrew agreed that we were within limits but several minutes later he continued to harass us again. Please note that our party had approximately 26 people and consisted of 10 kids, 12 Parents and 4 Senior Grandparents and in no way were we being disruptive. I also noticed other groups had more than eight people around their bays, yet Andrew did not seem to address them in the same manner, which left us feeling singled out. The situation escalated when several members of our group moved to the bar area. Andrew followed them there and told them they could not order at the bar because they were part of our party and needed to go back and order at the bay, even though they were simply trying to step away from the bay to avoid overcrowding. His actions created an uncomfortable atmosphere and left us feeling unwelcome. He then canceled our party with approximately 30 minutes remaining, which felt abrupt and unnecessary. This experience ultimately interrupted and diminished what should have been a joyful celebration for my 12-year-old. From the beginning, Andrew’s tone and approach felt unprofessional, unhelpful, and far below the standard of customer service we expect from management. I am bringing this to your attention in the hope that no other customers will have to go through something similar.

I’m giving two stars instead of one only because the actual game is fun, but that’s the part they don’t have to manage. Everything else about this location consistently falls short. From the moment you check in, the experience goes downhill. The front desk staff come across as entitled and unhelpful, and checking into your bay is always an issue. When the system doesn’t work, which is often, you’re left waiting around for a bay host just to start playing. Once you’re finally in your bay, don’t expect much service. You’re better off ordering all your food and drinks upfront, because you’ll hardly see your server again. During one visit, after waiting 45 minutes for our order, I walked to the bar to buy a drink myself, only to be denied because I was assigned to a bay. That policy is honestly absurd. These issues have been happening since they opened, and while I thought it might be staffing, it wasn’t acceptable then either. But service remains consistently slow, especially anything coming from the bar, and it’s the same experience every time I visit. I really want to love this place because Topgolf is so much fun, but the service at this location makes it not worth coming. I keep hoping things will improve, but after multiple visits with the same problems, it’s clear something needs to change. tl;dr Service makes this location not worth visiting and hasn’t improved since opening.

My partner and I visited Topgolf Burlingame with his sister for an afternoon outing, and we had a fantastic time. We rented a bay for two hours and ordered the Fun Platter, which included sliders, chips and dip, pretzels, and mozzarella bites, perfect for sharing while playing. We also enjoyed a few cocktails, and overall, the food and drinks were excellent for this type of venue. The atmosphere was lively and fun, and the facility itself was impressively clean, from the hitting bays to the restrooms. It was my partner’s and my second time visiting, but his sister’s first, and she absolutely loved it. Topgolf really is one of those places that’s too enjoyable not to return to. The only downside was the service. While the staff was friendly and we eventually received everything we needed, we had to flag someone down nearly every time we wanted to order. Table touches could definitely be more consistent. That said, the overall experience was great, and we’ll absolutely be back. For a fun, interactive afternoon with friends or family, Topgolf Burlingame is an easy recommendation
