The venue was great as always. The one disheartening incident that we encountered were young high school kids that were spewing racist remarks to people of color. This is appalling as Burlingame is an educated part of town.

Took 30 mins for our waitress to greet us. Round of beers ordered, waited another 15mins for Coronas. No one came back to our table. So an hour and 20 mins into our 2 hour time slot, we order from the bar where we were told we can’t order from, we can only order from our serve. We said our server hasn’t come back. Then the bartender graciously brings us out more beer. Then the manager comes over, doesn’t check in to see how it’s going from our initial complaint. Just kind of stood there, with a negative aura. Then our waitress appears to give us our check. Imagine that. Golf was fun, but what a joke of a place they’re running. Oh and they were out of close to everything food wise. First time experience was terrible.

Couldn’t get a very simple order right. Then the girl had not a clue how to do a refund and then she said well they can remake it. No, I don’t think I’m waiting as long as it took to get the first order to get a second order of redo.
They used to be better the first few times I went here, but they’ve really gone downhill.

Came in with my boyfriend’s family after celebrating an annual event. We had two bays for the family and they got all of the orders confused. We originally tried order drinks at the bar to which we were told we had to order at the table. When we were at the table we asked how many cards we could keep on tab so that we can order our drinks separately. They told us we were able to keep maximum 3 cards per table. The first table ordered food and 20 minutes later, we ordered ours for our other table. The food orders were mixed up and our other table ate the food that we ordered for our table because it was dropped off at the wrong table. They continued to confuse our table orders for the duration of the night. This continued until the manager came over and explained that the confusion was our fault because we should have made sure that the orders were going to the right people. They offered to take off $15 from the check because we were upset with the service, but failed to take accountability for any of the confusion that they cause. They got our checks confused because of the drink orders and the food orders. They should let their customers order from the bar if they prefer so they don’t get confused at the tables. I come to top golf with family and friends all the time and this location is by far the WORST location I have ever visited.

This is literally the worst company and “fun time” entertainment place that I have experienced. I’ve never had to post a review, but I’m blown away by how poorly this place is managed, staffed and just blatantly doesn’t truly care about its customers. I am somewhat on a rant but that’s only because I need to inform management somehow that they should be embarrassed in terms of an experience — especially since this is now a brand new facility that just opened. Here is one of two examples of my first trips. I’ve made it clear to multiple club soccer teams in the Bay Area that they should never go here.
Here is one experience: I went there with a group of 11-12 year-olds for a birthday party. We waited for at least 25 minutes, even though we had a reservation, booked a week ahead of time. By the time we actually were given our booth, we walked up and there was a pile of food, not only all over the tables, but literally all over the ground. It was disgusting. Ok, so we gave them the benefit of the doubt, but we then sat for another 10 minutes for someone to come over and at least clean it up. After standing around waiting and standing because no one wanted to sit down next to a garbage pile of food I had walk back to the check-in center to inform them that we’ve been sitting there again for another 10 minutes with food everywhere and a group of kids just wanting to play golf. The people next to us couldn’t believe what we were experiencing and actually offered for a few kids from our group to hit a few balls at their expense because they felt so bad for us. It was just outright sad and maddening at this point.
I walked over to two of the employees that completely ignoring this situation and literally had AirPods in their ears. I honestly have never experienced anything like this in my life. OK so because I was the host I figured I would start cleaning this up by myself put it in the black buckets behind us and at least let the kids start playing golf. Well after doing this myself (which was embarrassing) two of the clubs were even missing grips including both drivers. The kids at this point were trying to make the most of it, using lefty clubs because that was the only option available.
You’ve literally cannot make this up.
Now, after going back to figure out how to fix this, I was told there wasnt one available at the moment, but I could get on the phone and speak with a manager who was at another Top Gold in Texas.
I don’t want to waste my time anymore even thinking about this place I just want management to be aware because I haven’t been able to even get in touch with them about how horrific of an experience at a brand new facility this was. It ended up being so awful that we packed everyone up and decided to just get out of there and ended up at the Dave and Busters in Daly City to just to try and save the kids birthday celebration with his friends. Honestly wish you the best of luck because with experiences like this it’s just a matter of time before you are out of business
