DON’T EVER BUY THE GIFT CARDS HERE.
I paid for a $100 Sephora gift card for a friend, and when she went to redeem it. It was already used. The gift cards have been tampered with and the black stickers concealing the code have been glued back on.
On top of that, calling this branch’s customer service is very poor. Support rep sounded very agitated and annoyed saying things like: “yeah what’s your problem”, “What about it”, “duh”. Incredibly unhelpful, and overall unwelcoming.

I'd love to know who it is in the bakery department that hates cheese so much. For decades, when you went to the bakery to get the jalapeño bagels or the focaccia, they were loaded with a huge handful of cheese melting over the edges, with big pools of cheese all over. Delicious!
But about two years ago, something terrible happened. For some reason now they put like four or five little sprinkles of cheese on a bagel, which have no flavor effect, and maybe three tablespoons of cheese on top of the focaccia. Pathetic!
We end up having to drive all the way to the San Mateo Safeway near 92 to get nice, ooey-gooey, cheesy breads. The other workaround is that we buy our own block of cheese to shred and put on top. It's pretty pitiful that your customers have to fix their own food, not to mention the extra $4 to do it.
All over the Peninsula and all over the US, when we travel, every Safeway has almost identical breads with lots of cheese, so we’ve determined that whoever took over this bakery two years ago must really hate cheese. We understand downsizing, but this was about an 80% reduction in the main attraction.
Please, please, we beg you, follow the recipe book that we know every Safeway bakery has somewhere around there and put the proper amount of cheese back on the bagels and focaccias!!! :)
