  Came on the rainy evening. Nice atmosphere. Great clam chowder, shrimp and salmon dish. Pudding for desert was yummy too. Thank you

  I’m giving a 5 star review because the place is definitely better than its current rating of 4.3. The dining room is a bit worn but still nice. The food was quite good. Steak and blackened ahi were both excellent as was the lobster bisque. The bread and salad were so so. Prices are not bad relatively speaking so decent value for money.

  We were looking for a place to get together over drinks and appetizers. I remembered this place from years ago and it had good food/ambiance so I recommended it to everyone. We even called a couple days before to confirm the bar was open seating and no reservations were needed. When we arrived with a group of 8 adults we were told the bar was full so they accommodated us in the dining room, which was fine. We just wanted to be together and celebrate the holidays. Last minute we had 2 more people join us and were told by the hostess that they couldn’t accommodate the other 2 people at the table so they had to sit in the bar because the dining room was full. Of course, we wouldn’t let 2 of our party sit away. So we asked if we could all just hangout at the bar even if it was just drinks and appetizers. We were told no because the bar was already full with reservations. At that point we decided to leave because we were no longer felt welcomed at the restaurant. At no point did a manager ever approach us even when we said we’d leave. The server was apologetic and he was the only one sympathetic to our situation. But because of how the hostess/receptionist had treated us we will not be visiting this place again. By the way, she still had us take our order of drinks even though the server had informed us the drinks hadn’t been made yet. We did offer him to pay for the round but he said it was ok since they weren’t made. We didn’t want to argue so we took the drinks, downed them and left.

  This place is on point. It is consistent, delicious, and not pretentious for a steak-and-seafood restaurant. I ordered a filet and lobster tail; my husband did the same. I loved every bite! I have a black pepper allergy, and they accommodated it; there was no pepper in anything, and it was divine. The server was great and made sure to follow the allergy warning. I will be back! The atmosphere is wonderful too. This was a great date night!

  I was not going to write a review because it was for my birthday, but the series of failures during my visit, followed by a severe case of food poisoning, compels me to share this warning. My birthday dinner, which we had looked forward to, was ruined. The problems started immediately: we stood unattended at the host stand for nearly ten minutes, fully in view of the staff. The service mishaps continued when our main courses were brought out before our appetizers, forcing us to cancel the starters. When my order arrived, it was incorrect. I had specifically chosen the Mahi Mahi from the research I did before going there, but was served a different fish. Instead of an apology or an offer to replace it, the server dismissed my concern by saying, "You'll like it." To avoid conflict on my birthday, I reluctantly accepted. The food quality was profoundly disappointing. Every dish tasted bland and seemed like it had been reheated. The prime rib was dry, my fish lacked freshness and flavor, and the side of couscous was completely bland. The crème brûlée dessert was served refrigerator-cold—an first for me. The most alarming part came two hours after returning home. I developed acute stomach cramps, chills, cold sweats, nausea, and diarrhea—clear symptoms of food poisoning. I am grateful this did not strike while I was in the restaurant or on the way home. It is a shame that a restaurant with such a prime location and a menu promising fresh seafood and steak fails so utterly on execution, service, and basic food safety. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this place to anyone.
