Otherwise prices are good, fries were good, I like the vibe. Beers looked nice and cold, but I didn't get one myself. There's a pretty big parking lot, but looks like it still may be difficult to get something closer to the restaurant considering how busy it can get. I'll probably return again when I'm in the area. Definitely would return if I lived closer.

But, I'm sad to report, the Portillo's that I love is no longer found here in Buena Park. This place has changed and lost it's edge. Maybe as a result of selling out and going public, or maybe as a result of creeping California culture, this portillo's lacks the nostalgic flavors and ambiance it once had, and I will no longer claim it as legitimate Chi-Town food. I actually had to salt the beef sandwich to bring out its flavor (something I'd never consider in the past). The gnolla roll had no bite either. Seems as though it's just not the same food. Ordering kiosks (boo!) Bathrooms were dirty and poorly maintained. Not enough chairs in the dining room (literally more tables than chairs to fill them). Just seems like a fancy McDonald's now...
