The location in Buellton is great, and on a non-busy day there’s plenty of parking, which made things easy. Our server was friendly and overall service was good. I did run into one small surprise: I loved their salsa and asked if I could get some to go. I didn’t ask about a cost because I assumed it would be a small complimentary container. Instead, they packed up a generous portion—which I appreciated—but it added $7 to the bill. Not the end of the world, and I still enjoyed the salsa for days, but it was a good reminder to always double-check before asking. What really gave me pause was the overall bill: $70 for breakfast. I know prices are up everywhere, but that still felt like a lot. As much as I enjoyed the food, especially that amazing omelet, I’m not sure I’d return at that price point. Great meal, just a bit tough on the wallet.
