- DTDiane TillemansJan 5, 20261.0I don’t know what’s happening with this location but it is getting out of hand. There are so many outs, you can’t even complete your shopping list. On the Monday before Xmas, almost the entire bread wall was empty. There was hod and hamburger buns at one end and bagels and hostess at the other end. That left 25’ of empty shelves, from top to bottom. The freezer section is always out of the most popular flavors. The Sunday after New Years there was no filet mignon or rack of lamb. And now we have paper bags that have handles that break while you are putting them in your car. There are NEVER enough cashiers. The self check ALWAYS has at least 2 machines not functioning. People are saying they’d rather go to Manor Market (private and mostly organic) and pay higher prices than put up with the mess at Vons. What are you going to do? I know payroll is handed out based on sales, but this store needs more cashiers during peak times. Mgmt just shrugs their shoulders. This community deserves better. I was told that Pepsi products can’t go on sale because Coke said they won’t ship if they do. That can not be legal. Do something!!!!

Why are they selling meat that expired a week ago? I am completely disgusted. I am now hoping that none of us get sick. Additionally, the advertised prices don’t always match what gets rung up at the register. I’ll be shopping at Grocery Outlet from now on. *Edited to add—-WHAT? Vons replied that they are “thrilled I had a great customer service experience?” Goes to show how much customer service is actually paying attention at this store and reinforces my ONE STAR review!
