There were all of 2 lines open on a Saturday evening in Big Bear, and 1 was stopped because they had to run back for alcohol - the Checker, not another person, even though there are numerous staff in the store. In addition, the first employee couldn't get the liquor cabinet open. This was easily the worst grocery experience I've had.

Even in a busy night you made us feel so welcomed. Oh and the cashier on our way out had jokes! This Vons is a pleasant surprise in a busy tourist area.

Nice large seafood and fresh meat section as well as a lovely bakery. Fresh made sushi is yummy! Bought a couple of baseball caps here too interesting items. Fresh produce and a beautiful flower section! Cute little stuffed animals just a really fun store. Crowded on the weekends especially during this holiday weekend, but the staff always makes it such a good experience.

The STORE MANAGER was literally hovering over my shoulder like a hawk, rifled through my cart and questioned me about it while I was trying to use the self checkout. I've never been treated so poorly at a store in my life. Never apologized for his behavior either. If you want to treat your customers like thieves and inspect every order, maybe open more staffed checkouts and close the self checkouts!
