Security guard followed me aisle for aisle, after 6 minutes or so the behavior became aggressive as he tried to walk between my cart and person - his hand grazed my crotch area. He never apologized and continued pretending as if he was looking for an item. I’ve lived in this area over 20 years now, a Jewish man of the community. I have never been treated so disrespectful and poorly. I understand a random person of color being profiled but not a Jewish person of the community!! Shame on this store and its management lack of ethics. Shalom! Update: I contacted the customer service department per the response from the manager below. They offered me free kosher wine and a gift card I removed my Google review.

Went to this store at opening 6:30 am to get a few things missed. Went to grab something from the dessert fridge but very scarce selection so asked bakery assistant if more would come out later then I could return and was told no that’s all I have nothing more would be made today we don’t have a cake decorator. On a holiday like Christmas or Hanukkah cakes and desserts are one of the things people get for celebrating your cake and dessert should be full especially at this time of year more preparation should have been done to ensure customers can get what’s needed.

UPDATE: I have filled out the contact form on the pavilions website and no one has reached out. Clearly this matter is not that concerning to them. ***RACIAL PROFILING*** I hate having to do this but the management at this location needs a drastic change. I walked into this location to grab some things while in the area. As soon as I walk through the door the one security guard at the front became very active. At first I just ignored the ignorance like I always do, but somehow magically the security guard just started appearing in every single aisle I was in, PRETENDING to look at shelves and my cart! He constantly kept walking past every single aisle I moved to. Mind you I have a cart trying to look for things while constantly being followed like some complete creep. I finally had to say something to the security and just like magic the following stopped. The only thing happening was I was young black man trying to grocery shop. This is completely disrespectful and I will be back to this location. Next time I will film the behavior so that everyone sees the type of racial discrimination practices taking place at this location. Talk about moving backwards in a place like Los Angeles, but here we are.
