Incredible food as always, but the service really stood out. Steve was hands down the best waiter we’ve ever had. Funny, personable, and on top of everything. He made the night feel special and effortless. Can’t wait to come back. Give him a raise.

I went to the Mastro's for Christmas dinner. I had a 5:45 reserv, I got seated at 6:15. They put me at a table that was up against a pillar sandwiched between tables on either side. So close, that the chairs from the other tables were knocking into my table. The volume of noise on the second floor was uncomfortably loud. I ordered a dinner salad with ranch dressing and sea bass. 40 minutes later I still hadn't received my salad. Then both my salad and my sea bass came at the same time. I never asked for both at the same time. Isnt it customary to bring a salad first!! The waiter took away my sea bass and said he'd have another brought once I was done with my salad. I was eating the salad and I tasted blue cheese which I avoid because it makes me nauseous. I called the waiter and I asked him what kind of dressing he gave me and he said, it was ranch. I said I'm tasting blue cheese and it makes me nauseous. He said, no it's definitely ranch. I called the manager after learning I had chunks of blue cheese on my salad. I told her that I had asked if the dressing was blue cheese because I felt nauseated. The waiter knowing, that I had told him about it causing nausea never indicated that there were chunks of blue cheese on the salad. The manager remade my salad. When I was ready for my sea bass, I asked my waiter when it would be coming as I had been there for 90 minutes. He said it would be there in 7 minutes. 7 minutes came and went and he said let me get the manager. The manager came over and I explained everything that had been going on with the blue cheese, getting both the salad and the sea bass at the time, etc., He said let me check on your sea bass and brought it to me. The sea bass fit into the palm of my hand for $58, gelatinous and slimmy with no flavor. I will not be returning.

I was really looking forward to coming here. It seemed really nice. I've never left a review of any kind for a restaurant before, bad or good. I believe our waiter was named Remi. I had to ask for my first drink of the night 3 times before I waived down someone else. He seemed like a manager I believe. He was great and super kind. He helped me get what I needed that night. When ordering I asked our waited what he thought was the best choice of steak and I ordered the smallest amount 2oz medium. Instead I got a 4oz and very bloody at that. We also ordered the Lobster Macaroni and Cheese it never came to our table and at this point, we just gave up on trying to get what we wanted. The manager did give us a free desert which I liked a lot, it was good and I appreciated how kind he was for doing that. I don't know if I would ever go here again though sadly.
