Corn has been moldy at the cut end, vegetables rot immediately. Expensive gluten-free bread was moldy in the interior. With groceries more expensive all the time this has to be the end of that neighborhood store relationship. We can't trust the store.

The store has a great selection of healthy stuff and a quality butcher/meat section. good cuts of meat at a reasonably affordable price. The staff are all friendly and helpful, and if you are a regular customer it is clear they remember you and value your business. Some of the snack items are a little pricier than down at Safeway but the meats are generally similar price and of better quality and it’s convenient and pleasant if you live close by to stop in for a snack or a drink or even a bigger grocery run.
