  I’d say I’m 50/50 on this restaurant. For the price, especially paying around $300 for the Chateaubriand, I expected it to be melt-in-your-mouth tender. Instead, it tasted like they had just slabbed a pound of butter on it. It was filling but not the good kinda filling. The Mac & Cheese Rigatoni and Broccolini were actually enjoyable. Even the puréed potatoes )which were basically glorified mashed potatoes) had potential but they were served cold.. the dish itself was warm yet somehow the potatoes were damn cold. Service also left something to be desired. I understand our server was trying to be funny but some of his comments came across as arrogant rather than playful. We arrived a little early for our reso and I’m not sure how their seating system works but we were placed at the very end right beside the kitchen. I may be completely wrong but it honestly made me wonder if we were seated there because we weren’t dressed "super fancy", especially when the restaurant has a dress code, yet we saw people walking in wearing shorts and T-shirts. Overall, we were hoping for better food and service. For the price you’re paying, I personally don’t think it’s worth the visit. There’s another steakhouse right in the village that in my opinion is much more worth your time and money.

  My girlfriend and I had an absolutely incredible experience at Sidecut Steakhouse. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The food was exceptional, every dish was beautifully presented, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavour. You can truly taste the quality of the ingredients and the care that goes into every plate. What made the evening even more memorable was the outstanding service from our server, Teagan. She was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made us feel welcome throughout the entire meal. She anticipated everything we needed without ever being intrusive, and her recommendations were spot on. It’s rare to receive service that is both professional and so personable. Sidecut delivered a flawless dining experience from start to finish. If you’re looking for an unforgettable steakhouse with amazing food and impeccable service, this is the place. My girlfriend and I can’t wait to come back!
