  A employee actually yelled outside sir you forgot your card which I didn't realize that I had forgotten in the machine because I was not fully awake I quickly came back and he handed it to me and im really grateful for it

  I would like to recognize the young lady Jordyn who works in the bakery. I needed something from the meat section with noone to be found. After being unable to locate the correct staff member she took the initiative to serve me despite having never worked in that department and not familiar with the process. She figured it all out on her own. Top tier employee imo.

  I wish I knew the name of the man who works in the wine shop, he is always so friendly and helpful. There are so many staff here who are super kind and great, even if the prices are a bit higher, it’s worth it because everyone is amazing.

  Outrageous prices. It should be renamed "Spend More On Food". They sell the same items as Walmart at 20% more just like Loblaws. Yogourt $1.20 more a container as an example, and only sells US Orange Juice at $1 to $2 more a bottle depending on size. The Patterson Empire gets freebies and preference from the BC Government and then returns this preference and stocks US produce at inflationary mark ups. They make the Irving's in New Brunswick look ethical.

  I have been shopping at SaveOn for 30 years. I actually give it 5 stars, but 2 stars to the little new assistant manager. I love it obviously. I retired & moved here 5 years ago. Right from the start I was TOLD as long as I have my little dog confined (I have a doggy baby buggy) or in his own bed I could bring him in. He is a emotional support dog, but not classified as a Support dog. All the staff know him & stop to say hello. I understand it's a grocery store where there is food etc. He is allowed in all stores including drug stores (including with food) & even my dentist & hair salon. Health reasons, I get it. Noone wants an animal peeing or touching the food etc. But today, it's 31C out & as always I came in. I will not leave my dog in the car. This little new "assistant manager " (who made it clear he's been the Assistant Manager for 1 month), like that was going to scare me? Does he care I was an attorney? He chased me down an aisle to say I could not have him in the store. I left. I wish the store would've been more clear years ago & not let me all these years. I won't be back.
