  Unfortunately, this is my first time leaving a review for a restaurant, and it has to be about the service. I feel no one cares about there job anymore. I visited Original Joe’s a couple nights ago and was disappointed with the overall experience. When I arrived, there was no host at the front, and although the restaurant wasn’t very busy (only a few tables occupied), it took a few minutes before anyone acknowledged me. I had also tried calling several times beforehand with no answer. Even when I sat there, I watched them ignore the phone that was ringing with other customers trying to get a hold. After being handed a menu, I seated myself. I ended up placing an order that was around $60 so I was expecting a better level of service for that price. (Even just general respect). Throughout my visit, it was frustrating to watch nearby tables being consistently attended to while I was overlooked. There was a table right beside me and another directly in front of me that kept getting served, with staff walking past me multiple times to reach them, as well as another table in the corner that was there at the same time. Despite this, no one checked in on me. My waitresses name was Zoe. I waited about 40 minutes for my food without any updates. I completely understand that delays can happen, but a quick check-in or even just acknowledgment would have made a big difference. Overall, the experience left me feeling unwelcome and ignored, which was disappointing. I hope this feedback helps improve the service going forward.

  what a hidden gem for a food chain here in Vernon. happy hour is such a score and i’m leaving so happy and full for under 30$* with 3 different dishes to try!!! will most def be back- thank you for such a good first time experience!

  First time to an original Joe's and it was very good. My daughter is the pickiest eater ever and she ever loved the food. Great service as well.

  Our waitress went above and beyond. When she brought our meals out, she told my wife's onion rings were over cooked and that she had requested new ones. Our meal was excellent and more then we could eat. Would highly recommend and we'll be back

  Disappointed in the meal overall. Steak was not done as requested. Fries were cold.
