Such an amazing experience. I can’t wait to go back! The service was top notch! Super friendly and personable staff that made the evening all that more memorable. I had the Fraser valley duck breast, which was just exquisitely done. The haskap berry compote and the duck jus complemented everything on the plate very well. Even the little vegetable tart was packed with umami and flavour. For dessert we had the Wildflower which consists of honey & pear entremet, sable biscuit, white chocolate and haskap berry compote. The light and airy honey and pear centre is encrusted by a thin layer of sweet white chocolate. The balance of soft and crunchy texture as well as the layering intensity of flavours, all shows how much effort they put into designing this dessert. Bravo!

Just came by with friends and had a wonderful time at the venue. Food tasted fantastic! Had the wagyu burger and seafood chowder. Both tasted excellent!

For a restaurant with a Michelin star, I expected a much higher standard. The food is good, but not exceptional enough to justify the reputation or the price. The menu is surprisingly limited and becomes repetitive if you live nearby. There are only a handful of main dishes, very few seasonal additions, and not much to encourage repeat visits. I’ve also found the food to be inconsistent between visits, and the portions are quite small. On one visit, I ordered the mussels with fries. Later that day, I became very ill and was vomiting for hours. While I cannot say with certainty what caused it, it was the only meal that stood out that day, and the experience left me very hesitant to return. What disappointed me even more was the service. On more than one occasion, I was served by the same waitress who appeared indifferent, unfocused, and inattentive. My water glass was left empty for long periods, and the overall service lacked the professionalism I would expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. I was also surprised to see staff serving tables in a tank top, which felt far too casual for a restaurant of this caliber. Fine dining should be be reflected not only in the food but also in the presentation and service. The “Forest Echoes” dessert was another disappointment. It looked interesting, but the flavor simply didn’t work for me and was one of the least enjoyable desserts I’ve had. Overall, I left feeling that the experience didn’t live up to the Michelin recognition. For the prices being charged, I expected significantly better food, more creativity, and a much higher level of service.

I ate oysters at your restaurant, and I believe they may not have been fresh After returning home, Ivomited multiple times and felt extremely unwell. Although the staff were friendly and provided good service, I continued to feel sick and experienced repeated vomiting. It was a very painful and upsetting experience

Wildlight has a very warm and engaging atmosphere with bright natural light, high ceilings and natural wood elements. We have been here a few times, and the food and service are always incredible. This time I got the Crispy Mapo Tofu Bowl, the tofu was incredibly crunchy and flavorful, and the noodles were garlicky and filling. Very well paired dish. My partner got the crispy chicken sandwich and loved it. We had a great chat with their Sommelier, Mike, and he was delightful. It is nice to see someone so passionate about their work.
