  I miss living near this location. The produce and presentation has always been impressive. We come down for breakfast now because it is so quiet in the morning.

  Pretentious and customer-hostile store with overpriced goods. Came to cashier with 5 items. She apparently rung them up, then asked for our number. While she was inputting, I began bagging items. Cashier abruptly "You can't do that." Confused at the rude tone, I stop as I was just being helpful by bagging. I back away rather than engage and wait for her to do whatever she wants. She scans eggs again. No courteousness, no explanation. Charges us $47. We walk away and look at the receipt - for 6 items - including three dozen eggs. (We only had two.) Return to her and ask for the charge to be removed. She sullenly and slowly processes a 'return' mumbling about how 'machines make mistakes'. No accountability, no apology, just a begrudging reversal. Do yourself a favor and shop up the street at one of the other markets. Spending premium prices for unfriendly, inaccurate and unwelcoming service buying groceries isn't reasonable. Never again.

  I am extremely disappointed with the service here. The store clearly states that a restroom is available and customers need to ask the cashier for the passcode. However, when I approached the staff (the older, white, female cashier with grey hair) to politely ask for it, she completely ignored me and walked away without saying a word. Even if there is a policy requiring a purchase first, the staff could have easily communicated that to me. Given the circumstances, I strongly feel that my accent and background were the reasons behind this unfair and disrespectful treatment. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this place to anyone.
