  Good concept, but I went, and everything was wrapped up and put away at 6 pm, with no staff at the deli. Kinda pointless

  un Grande supermercato ben fornito, ottima cura dell’esposizione, ottima scelta di frutta, con spazio anche per mangiare e con starbucks al suo interno. I prezzi si fanno notare, cosi alti e diversi dai nostri. A parte ciò io qui faccio la spesa

  I’ve been to Urban Fare a couple of times and every visit has been exceptional. This time I went in to buy some cheese and kindly requested the deli department if they could help grind it for me. I’ve had this done a couple of times before, and the staff were always happy to help, therefore I didn’t think it was an unusual request or against any store policy. The woman working in the section at the time (blonde, stronger build) seemed visibly annoyed by the request. She did agree to do it, but while grinding the cheese, she seemed increasingly angered. When I asked if it would be possible to reduce the amount being ground, she simply responded, “No, you’re getting the whole thing.” I wish she would have elaborated. I thanked her for helping as maybe she was having day and I didn’t think much of it, but she then shoved the containers into my hand and stormed away without saying anything else. I understand that she could have been having a bad day, or that perhaps the request wasn’t something she was able to accommodate. If that was the case, I would have had no issue with being told that. What bothered me was the way the situation was handled and the lack of basic professionalism. I worked in the customer service industry myself, so I understand that people have difficult days. If she is dealing with something personally, I hope she gets whatever support she needs. Simultaneously, if she was having a particularly difficult day, it would be wise considering whether they should be dealing directly with customers, since an interaction like this can easily escalate with someone who is less patient. I’m sharing this because I’ve otherwise had consistently great experiences at Urban Fare, and I hope this was just an isolated incident. Thanks

  I'm not sure what oil they use but this food is genuinely worse than at the community centers where the meal is like 2.50. this was $19.99. Dry and salty, (plus oily beans) is the only taste U will find. Freshness has left the building.

  A decent grocery store, which is my go-to place, but I found a dead fly on the sandwich section today. (8/29/2026). I hope this comment will bring attention to the management team so they can take action.
