  My wife and I stopped in at this urban fair, looking to get a coffee and a snack. We went up to the coffee bar and stood there with four staff standing around talking to each other totally ignored us.. We spoke up and got the same result pretty much they just ignored us. Based on that, I would never recommend this place. Go at your own risk.

  I have visited the Urban Fare UBC location several times, and unfortunately, every experience has been disappointing. The customer service is some of the worst I’ve encountered. You have to wait for assistance with almost everything, while staff stand at the cash registers without acknowledging customers or asking if anyone needs help. Considering how expensive the store is, I would expect a much higher level of service. The poor customer experience simply doesn’t match the premium prices. I hope management takes steps to improve staff engagement and customer service.

  I question how fresh their prepped food are. Grabbed a quick sandwich from them and it tasted like it was a couple of days old but the label says it was prepped the same day. How is that possible?

  This store is pretty small and quite expensive. Even the fruits don’t really have a special quality compared to their prices. However, the café and pastry section are amazing, everything tastes fresh and delicious.
