There was a time Save on foods had more local products. Now i see USA products mostly. Driscoll fruits, a company that is facing lawsuit for it's cancer causing chemicals. Why is that the only fruit choice especially strawberries.

Terrible staff. Starting with a lady who doesn't know she's in Canada and here the LGBTI community is respected. I hope they learn or they don't teach them. I don't know how they say they have respect for where the bosses of this place are.

So under staffed. You ask the one person you can find after walking around for 5mins and they don’t know they carry Milano coffee they say, I don’t know we don’t carry that. Website says you do.

I had a very disappointing experience at Save-On-Foods today. The middle-aged cashier was unnecessarily rude while processing my purchase because I was using a coupon that made one item (worth about $3) free. Instead of treating me like any other customer, she made me feel as though I was doing something wrong for using a valid promotion. What made the situation even more upsetting was that this happened in front of three other people standing nearby, two of whom appeared to be employees who had just finished their shift. I felt embarrassed and disrespected over something that should have been a routine transaction. Coupons are offered by the store or manufacturer to be used by customers. No one should be made to feel uncomfortable or judged for using them. Customer service should be respectful regardless of how much someone is spending or whether they’re using a promotion. Experiences like this discourage people from returning. I hope management addresses this and reminds staff that every customer deserves to be treated with courtesy and professionalism.
