  First time coming here and the cashier, Doreen, was extremely rude the second I walked up to the register. I hadn’t initiated any conversation and was just walking up to the register when she became impatient and began telling me where to put my items in a rude tone.

  We came to Vancouver for a vacation and decided to check out Save-On-Foods for groceries. We liked that alot of things were available and the prices were great! We had a guy by the name of Greg who helped us out on cash and was incredibly kind. He was very patient with us being new to the store and helped us set up an account with Save-On-Foods so we would save more money on the overall bill. Greg's kindness started our trip off on the right foot and will not be forgotten.

  We were shopping here picking up groceries during a recent visit to Vancouver and had the pleasure of being helped by Greg. He was so kind and friendly. We made sure any other shopping we did was at this location because of our experience with him.

  The absolute worst Save on Foods • at customer service to buy lottery and some Popsicles - refused service. Only returns??? Refused to serve me. Line up with minimum 8 people in self serve and the “human” check outs. I literally hate this store.

  This is the first time in the two years I've been living in Canada. I wanted to ask for a plastic bag at the store checkout—I’d forgotten what it’s called—so I could put my groceries in it and keep them from getting on my backpack. I pointed at it and asked for one, but she just looked at me and asked what it was called. Was she trying to make fun of me or something? I told her I didn’t remember what it was called in English. In the end, on the third try, I just took it myself because she never gave it to me, even though I was pointing right at the roll of bags. Of course, I didn’t expect that—I’ve encountered foreigners in Europe countless times, but I’ve never let myself do something like that.
