  I ordered a latte here today, but unfortunately the milk tasted spoiled or not fresh. The drink had a very strange taste, and I couldn’t finish it. I hope the store pays more attention to the freshness of their milk and quality control in the future.

  The store itself is clean and not as crowded as other grocery stores. However, one of the older female cashiers Ruth as displayed on her tag, is very rude in her manner of speaking and tone, not to mention condescending and hovering over patients as if she cannot trust them at all. Not really becoming behavior for a clerk whose job is to show respect and good service to the store's customers.

  Way too much of their produce comes from the US and yet they have banners everywhere proclaiming that they’re a Canadian business. I can’t support you if you don’t at least try to stock Canadian produce (or at least not from the US). Also the self checkout often has problems and there’s no staff assigned to help so you have to wait forever for one of the cashiers to come over.

  It's my local, so I am happy to have it and the people working there are excellent; however, I do most of my big shopping elsewhere. This is a convenience store for my household. Pros: - Friendly staff (Doreen and the deli/bakery/meat dept folks are amazing) - Ample Parking - Decent Selection based on size of store. - Pharmacy is awesome, provides vaccinations and based health support. Cons: - Poorly designed layout. - Aisles are narrow, corners are tight. - No planning went into cart/basket storage. - Same goes for checkout, self checkout lines up in a food aisle. - Prices are steep, deals feel like regular price compared to Walmart and other chains.

  Somethings been going on with the bakery the last couple months. They keep pumping out raw loaves of bread. I used to love their in-house cheesey, black olive bread, but after cutting into raw, doughy loafs on two separate occasions and then having to make the special trips back for returns…(annoying)…It doesn’t really make you want to buy or trust anything from their bakery! I hope they can figure it out, that bread is usually delicious. I guess for now I will be sticking to the Terra Bread, at least I can trust that it’s baked properly.
