  Deli and seafood counters always close way too early—came at 8:30om, the store doesn’t close until 10!

  Very disappointing experience with an employee named AVAH. I tried to redeem a lottery ticket and politely asked for the same type of ticket, but she insisted I “had to choose another ticket” and refused to return my original ticket after scanning it. Her attitude was rude and dismissive, and I felt pressured into buying something I didn’t want. This is not acceptable customer service. Staff (AVAH) should not force customers into unwanted purchases!

  Went to this River district branch this afternoon, 1st time been here as I don't live close by, but I'm heading to Burnaby today, so stopped by here as it's on my way to Burnaby. Came here today to return a bottle of milk which I bought from the Kerrisdale location, which the milk might have turned bad, as both my son and I drank it got stomach cramp after drinkinh the milk. A young lady staff (Indian?) saw me waiting at the customer service counter and immediately came forward to help me. She was polite and being helpful and called her supervisor/manager? for the return (as I bought it from Kerrisdale, not at this River district location). The supervisor approved and the young lady helped me with the refund. Another blond lady staff (with black eyeglasses) also approached me to listen my situation and she was also being understanding of why I returned the milk at this location, but not the original location that I bought the milk from. Overall, my 1st time experience here was good, staffs were being polite amd helpful (and manager/supervisor on the phone being understanding). Will come again to buy grocery next time if I drive by.

  Clean store, but seems like there is always low staffing and so any questions be prepared to wait. There were issues with More Rewards system today. When I found someone I was told until the system was restored the advertised rewards prices wouldn't be applied. In a rush, so I'll be shopping elsewhere.
