  Decided on fries for lunch today for me and my son, they were crispy and had a generous amount of salt on them. The service was fast and acceptable considering how busy it was, my son really enjoys the hotdog too and it was pretty good as well. This is a good option for an affordable (in comparison to the other options) comfort food choice at the food court.

  We were excited to try New York Fries for the first time, but unfortunately we had a very disappointing experience at your downtown Vancouver location today, Monday at around 345pm The manager took our order and provided very poor customer service from the beginning. Every time we asked a question about the menu, he seemed upset and irritated instead of helping us. While we were still deciding what to order, he was on his phone rather than assisting us. When I politely pointed this out, he responded by saying, “I can’t be on my phone?” The situation became worse when he told us that the order had already been prepared and that we could no longer change our minds. At that point, we had not even completed our order or paid yet. Nobody instructed him to start preparing the food before we finished ordering, yet he repeatedly insisted that we could not make any changes. I then asked to speak with the manager, not realizing he was the manager himself. He responded by saying, “I am the manager.” When I asked for his name, he refused to provide it. After that, he refused to continue taking our order and disrespectfully told us to leave. Due to how serious and disrespectful the situation became, I took out my phone to record the interaction. Once he noticed I was recording, he changed his attitude slightly and took the order and asked in a rude tone, “What do you want?” This experience was extremely disappointing, especially because my mother has a disability and had to remain standing while dealing with this unacceptable customer service and attitude. I would like to know if this behavior is considered acceptable within your company. The manager also stated that there was “no head office” and that there was no way for me to make a complaint. I have videos of the interaction, as well as my order receipt, as evidence. His attitude and behavior were very serious matters, and it is not acceptable for a manager to treat customers this way. Overall, this experience was extremely unprofessional and disappointing, especially as first-time customers.

  Can’t take one hotdog order correctly. Unbelievable. I recommend literally any other restaurant/fast food place over this.

  Had a great experience at New York Fries! The customer service was friendly, fast, and welcoming—the staff made me feel valued and took my order with a smile. The food was just as impressive: fresh, hot, and perfectly crispy fries, and the poutine was absolutely delicious with rich gravy and fresh cheese curds. One of my favourite spots for a quick and satisfying meal

  Amazing experience at New York Fries in Pacific Mall! The service was fast and efficient, and Sofia was especially helpful she was patient and took the time to walk me through the ingredients. The food as always, was fresh and delicious. Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to!
