Had dine-in at Chawla Chicken today and honestly the momos were really good. Tried the tandoori momos and the flavor was amazing. Nice atmosphere and good service too. Definitely worth trying.

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had recently. The staff was very welcoming, food quality was outstanding, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. Fresh, tasty, and satisfying! I will be definitely using them from now on for my all the events for catering.

Had a great meal at Chawlas2 - Chawla Chicken. We ordered Butter Paneer with Garlic Naan and Butter Naan, along with Veg Manchurian and Veg Hakka Noodles. The butter paneer was rich and flavorful, and the naans were fresh, soft, and perfectly cooked. The Veg Manchurian had a nice balance of spice and sauce, while the Hakka noodles were tasty and well-seasoned. Overall, the food was satisfying with good portion sizes and great flavors. Will definitely visit again!”

I initially left a review from "Sissy the mate" and was asked by the restaurant to call or email them to resolve the issue. I tried calling three separate times, and each time I was either told to call back in a few minutes or that someone would return my call. No one ever did. This was a week ago. That alone says a lot about their customer service. Coming to the actual experience — we visited for lunch and ordered chole poori and paneer naan with gravy. The poori was undercooked and tasted off, and I ended up with stomach discomfort afterward. The paneer naan with gravy was just average and came with no sides whatsoever. I even asked for pickles with the chole poori and was told they don’t provide any, which is quite disappointing for a place serving this cuisine. We also ordered a drink during their Friday 50% off promotion, but were charged full price. When I asked, I was told it didn’t apply because it was billed as takeout — even though we were dining in. The portion size was also quite small, which made the whole situation feel even more unfair. At that point, it felt uncomfortable to keep questioning it. We’ve been regular takeout customers before (for other items), but this was our first dine-in experience — and unfortunately, it was very disappointing. For a $30+ lunch in Surrey, you expect much better quality, service, and basic accountability. There are plenty of better options around. This experience has left a very poor impression.

I visited for lunch and ordered chole poori and paneer naan with gravy. The poori was not cooked properly and tasted bad, and I’m now experiencing stomach discomfort. The paneer naan with gravy was just average and came without any sides at all. I also asked for pickles with the chole poori, but was told they don’t provide any. We’ve been regular customers for takeout (for other items), but this was our first time dining in—and the experience was disappointing. We also ordered a drink during their Friday 50% offer, we were charged full price. Upon clarification the girl said since you are taking drink out so it will be charged under take out with no offer applied. The portion size was also quite small, which made it feel even more unfair and I felt highly uncomfortable talking about it again. This has left a very bad impression. In a place like Surrey, where there are so many great options with good food and service, we chose Chawla based on its name—but this experience did not meet expectations at all. For a $30+ lunch, much better quality and service are expected.
