  The service was quick. Freshly stir fried rice within minutes. Very flavourful, serving portion was good for sharing, comes with 6 pieces of a good-sized shrimp. Not much veggie or basil on the serving though.

  2026.06.28 Ordered number 8. Pad See Ew with Shrimp non-spicy, less sauce this time. Having less sauce made this taste good, not overly salty, as opposed to the default of the regular amount of sauce. The taste is much more balance in flavor with less sauce. Now if you would pull your shrimp out of the heat a minute earlier, that would allow the shrimp protein to be more delicate to the taste. 2026.06.12. Thai Express is a chain restaurant, one of the tenants of the dining area food court on the second floor. Ordered number 8. Pad See Ew with Shrimp non-spicy, and an imperial roll. Allow about five minutes after ordering for your order to be ready. Their Pad See Ew with shrimp, the flavor was off balance, overwhelmed with the taste of sodium, shrimp was overcooked. The Imperial roll was tasty. Credit cards accepted, WiFi available in the CF Richmond Centre. The dining atmosphere is nice when the weather is overcast, but gets uncomfortably hot when the sun is shining in on all the glass, becomes a very uncomfortable hot house. Try Thai Basil where the chef's food quality is better, taste the difference.

  Very disappointing experience. I ordered Pad Thai to go from this location in Richmond Centre, and as soon as I opened the box, there was a strong burnt smell. Almost every piece of beef was visibly burnt, and the whole dish tasted like smoke and char. I was really hungry and looking forward to the meal, but this was honestly unacceptable. The beef was so badly burnt that it was difficult to eat. Burnt food is not only unpleasant in taste, but also raises concerns about food quality and potential health risks. I’m not sure if this happened because it was a takeout order, but the quality control was clearly lacking. I paid for a meal, not a box of burnt food. Very bad experience and definitely not worth the money. I would not return or recommend this place.
