  I came here looking for snacks and souvenirs to take back to the states. The staff were very friendly and helpful with showing items that would be worthwhile to take back.

  for the hot food area. 12:01 and the hot food area is almost empty, missing all the new stuff they’ve been advertising and have an add for right on the counter, no pizza, no taquitos, no quesadillas. i walked up to the counter two women yapping together, didn’t acknowledge until i said excuse me, both not doing anything at the time. i asked if taquitos were going to be ready soon she looked down and obviously noticed they hadn’t stocked the hot food area and said oh uh um can you give me 15 minutes. i said no sorry i can’t, im on my lunch break. i was like it’s lunch time how come it’s not made yet ? and she said oh they didn’t prep it last night … not they sold them already, no one prepped them last night. meaning they had all morning to get things ready. i understand things happen and people get busy but you cant have a new items menu right on the counter and not have any of it ready when people want it at lunch time ?! so i wasted my lunch break walking over to get something and im leaving with nothing.

  I was disappointed by my experience. When the cashier asked if I wanted to donate to a charity, I politely said no thank you. From that point on, I felt a noticeable shift in her attitude toward me. Donating should always be a personal choice, and customers should not feel pressured or made uncomfortable for saying no. This interaction left a negative impression on me.

  I would like to share feedback regarding my experience at the self-checkout on June 10, 2026 at Save On Foods, 11666 Stevetson Hwy #3000 Richmond BC V7A 5J3 (Ironwood plaza) at around 6:10PM- 6:30PM. I needed assistance removing a scanned item and approached a staff member for help. Unfortunately, I found her attitude and tone to be rude and unprofessional. Without helping me, she ignored me and left me alone. The interaction lacked the level of customer service I have come to expect from Save-On-Foods. I was unable to identify the employee because she was not wearing a name tag (not proper uniform either). My understanding is that staff members are generally expected to wear name tags while on duty. To determine who assisted me, I suggest reviewing the store’s security footage for the relevant time period near the self checkout area at I believe Store Manager Paul White would appreciate being made aware of this situation so that appropriate coaching and training can be provided. My intention is not to file a formal complaint, but rather to provide feedback that may help improve the customer experience. I was surprised as mentioned on the notice board, none of the duty managers were able to assist me. Then, what is the whole purpose of mentioning "I M HERE TO HELP!!!!' I have always received excellent service at other Save-On-Foods locations, which is why this interaction stood out as disappointing. I hope this feedback will be taken as an opportunity for improvement and train the staff to provide better quality services. Thank you for your attention
