- CCC CAug 22, 20261.0Had an unpleasant interaction there today, Aug 22, 2026 ~4PM. I was ringing through my groceries and my pack of bacon did not ring up at the correct price. At the request of the cashier I went to where the bacon was and took a photo of the sale sign and brought it back. She then asked me to wait at the check out while she made a phone call. I have been coming here for years and when this happens, staff have always been happy to just give the item for free, or take $10 off, which ever is less. This is standard practice in Canada. I was waiting a few minutes before a second person came over and deleted the original bacon from the transaction and re-rang it in, and suddenly the sale price was there. Given the amount of time it took for him to come, it would seem as though I was held up to wait while the price was changed in the system, rather than just giving me the item for free, as is a rule at this store. It was the same pack of bacon, that suddenly rang in at a different price so it had to be a change in the system. Very shady on the part of management and whatever workers are involved. I have generally always had pleasant experiences there up until this happened today.

We found this store well stocked and the deli food was better than we anticipated. We particularly enjoyed the prepared sandwiches and samosas. Highly recommend if you need regular groceries/supplies or if you are getting food to go.
