  I've been in a few Quality Foods but don't remember seeing one with so many take out or food options to take away - both hot and cold options. From the usual deli food, to freshly made sandwiches, chicken wing/wedges etc, Chinese food, sushi, and several packaged sandwiches and a huge assortment of drink options! Staff were friendly and helpful too!

  The selection of goodies in the bakery puts all the other big grocery stores on the big island to shame. Not sure why you need two dozen mini cups of honey mustard but you keep being you. Also thank you Brendan for the sloth sticker. I didn’t mean to steal it from my daughter… it just happened.

  I'm a van lifer and was just passing through but due to some mechanical troubles I'm stuck here for awhile. I'm in the store every 3 days because that's as long as I can keep food cool. Majority of my income is going towards fixing my van and every time I have to go buy food I'm almost in tears because it's so expensive and I honestly don't know how I'm going to survive. Like I couldn't find ground beef for less then $13, there's no paper towels or toilet paper for less then $9 and that's only if it's on sale. I have no choice but to shop here and I feel like I'm being taken advantage of every time I see the total.

  I love the staff at this store. They are helpful and pleasant. They do their job with love and kindness. The store itself I am disappointed in. We are in a trade war and the amount of American products on their shelves is unfortunate. Try to buy Canadian apples right now… it is impossible. Breaks my heart that the owners/management don’t care about the implications of carrying the produce and lack of Canadian options that they are doing at the moment.

  We are blessed and grateful to return to Qualicum Foods after two years and find it just as wonderful as we remembered. 🙏❤️ It’s clean, comfortable, and incredibly welcoming, with plenty of seating, multiple washrooms, delicious freshly prepared food, and good coffee. There’s even a Starbucks and an upstairs seating area overlooking the grocery store, making it a beautiful place to sit, eat, relax, and enjoy the moment. ☕️✨ For breakfast, we ordered the Eggs Benedict, and it was delicious! 🍳 The meal was freshly made to order, and we were even able to choose how we wanted our eggs poached. We chose medium, and they came out wonderfully. We also had the choice between shredded hash browns and solid potatoes, and we went with the shredded hash browns. The hollandaise sauce brought everything together beautifully. What makes the experience even better is the staff. Everyone is super friendly, welcoming, and always seems to have a warm smile. 😊 Coming back here after two years brought back memories of our journey and reminded us just how meaningful certain places can become. Sometimes you return somewhere and realize that while life has changed tremendously, the warmth you remembered is still waiting for you.
