  Another grocery store down the toilet from corporate greed. This location is in the process of being converted to a Save On Foods (all owned by the Pattinson Corp). The beginning of the end was a few years ago when the down sized the wonderful selection of European goods and the shelves were stocked with generic or house brands. So now in Port Alberni we've lost another food chain [even though it has the same corp owner]. It really makes me wonder how the Federal Government Competition Bureau turns a blind eye to these shenanigans. Being in a valley that's over 35 mins drive to the nearest town to get to a competitive store obviously means nothing to them.

  Over priced, by far the worst store in P.A. I bought a dagwood sandwich for lunch today because I could not find ANYTHING else and there's two pieces of meat with ¾ inch slabs of tomato.
