First time here and loved their “Happy hour” specials. Beautiful restaurant with a river view. We had a great hostess, and can’t wait to return! Thank you

As a hotel restaurant, I can say the dishes are not up to standard but the services definitely great. Both the soup and the home made bread is great, however all the main dishes not. The steak is overcooked while the mass potato is too salty and the pasta is too soft while the cheese is too strong for seafood pasta. Even the dessert tastes weird, its just a crème brûlée but it tastes salty while the caramel crust is too thick. Definitely over priced for this kind of quality, no wonder not many people here.

We had seen 4 orders of steak returned and refired. So before we ordered steak i specifically aske the server "is my steak going to be cooked to med rare or blue like the that went back from other tables?" He gaurenteed us a perfect steak. Blue rare. Very busy restaurant that seems production and profit outweighs the patrons experience.

Was there last night Very disappointed. Took 45 minutes to get drinks ( they weren't busy at all 5 tables) to find out there were no fountain drinks the machine was broken got up sold on a mocktail that wasn't vary good the never got asked for a refill on drinks or water Calamari was soggy, seafood chowder had more potatoes then seafood and the fish and chips were way over cooked. We ordered the oysters to find out after 30 minutes they were sold out "no big deal " but they were still on the bill at the end the Sake Glazed Salmon season vegetables were just sauté onions no vegetables. The crème brûlée had a sour taste. And they sat us out side beside the exhaust fans for the kitchen witch smelled like hot oil Not worth the 500$ for dinner for the 6 of us. We been to other Boat houses. Horseshoe bay, White Rock and Rocky Point. They were way better food and service wont be going back to this one

Very dark restaurant, even through we were inside next to the windows overseeing the Fraser River, reminds me of a Mafia bar / restaurant in New York during the 1980s, very dummy light older light fixtures, the restaurant shows it age,big time. Had a gift card, thought we would use, before the restaurant chain shut down. Food was ok, nothing special, steak was a bit tough for medium well. Service was slow had to ask for water multiple time, only water no ice, guess the restaurant can afford ice in the water glasses. I had been to the restaurant over the years, better off to go to the white spot in royal city mall. Bottom food was ok, nothing special, service is marginal. The restaurant will probably survive because of the hotel next door and the patrons will find it easy to get the morning breakfast, will never return even if the restaurant survives. Do not buy gift cards for the boat house, do be a sucker,
