  Huge place with a large lounge, dining area, and patio. I went to watch a FIFA game, they have plenty of TVs. The shrimp dip was amazing, the margarita was tasty, and the staff was super friendly. The only downside is the prices, which could be a bit lower considering it's in New West.

  Food was great, atmosphere was nice, service was not. Unfortunately we felt forgotten about on multiple occasions. My drink did not arrive at our table until well after our food and probably about 10 minutes after other drinks at our table arrived (It was a beer). We were not asked if we wanted any other drinks after our first round was long finished. I would dine in again, but probably only for a casual lunch.

  Been to this restaurants a few times for special occasions, during lunch and dinner. The food was tasty, and the staff were friendly. Atmosphere was calm and romantic, especially if you go during the evening. Since its close to the boardwalk at New Westminster Quay, you can enjoy a nice stroll after dinner and enjoy the view of the river. Parking was easy, but if you don't drive, it's only a short walk from New Westminster skytrain station.

  Very poor service and an extremely disappointing experience. We had a reservation for 5:45 p.m. to celebrate my 5-year-old nephew's birthday and arrived on time. After waiting in line to check in, we were incorrectly told that we were late and would have to wait. Once we explained that we had arrived before our reservation time, the hostess apologized and said it would only be a 5 minute wait because the servers were busy. We were eventually seated but then waited another 30 minutes without anyone coming to our table not even to offer us water. We were a party of four including a young child celebrating his birthday. Having to wait that long without any acknowledgment was unacceptable. When a waitress finally came over, she brought only two glasses of water for four people. We asked if we could move to a nearby vacant table because our table was quite cold. She agreed and said she would clean it and come back for us but she never did. About 10 minutes later, she returned only for us to discover that the table had already been given to another group. By this point, we were hungry, thirsty, and our 5-year-old birthday boy had run out of patience. What was meant to be a special family celebration turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience. The lack of communication, attentiveness, and basic customer service completely overshadowed the occasion. I understand that restaurants can get busy, but a simple acknowledgment, timely service, and better communication would have made all the difference. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below expectations and I cannot recommend this restaurant based on the service we received.

  I’m disappointed to say the least. I think I felt a bit of single shaming here. On a day visit to New West I was walking by The Boathouse and I noticed their big open patio with plenty of open seats with a great view of the river so I decided to stop for dinner. Upon asking for a table on the patio the host made it feel like there wasn’t anything available and went to check. Odd I thought after seeing so many open tables but who knows. Upon her return she said there is one table available so I followed her out. I was anticipating a seat with a view, but to my surprise we walked past them all and I was offered a table at the end of the patio in the corner with a view of a wall and a tree. I said to myself, “ok maybe the rest of these tables are reserved” so I sat down. It was a hot afternoon and I was looking forward to a cold glass of water. The host had a pitcher of it with her and I thought “perfect”. I couldn’t wait for her to pour me a cold glass. But to my surprise she turned and walked away without even offering me a drop. Shortly after my server came by. Nice enough fella but his bath in his choice of cheap cologne wafted upon me like a suffocating vapour wall. I asked for a water and he not so promptly returned with this small warm glass of tap water and I never saw him again. As I waited for his return to take my order another server came out and started interacting with the 3 tables around me full of couples. He had them all laughing and the vibe was good and I wished he could be my server! He noticed me, but looked at me with this puzzled look on his face. I kindly gestured for him to come my way…please….but he just turned and walked away. After waiting and waiting for my server I finally gave up and left. I definitely won’t be back and recommend anyone thinking of dining here to maybe go somewhere else.
