  Twice this year I've seen their security staff assault customers outside the store in the pretext that the customer had committed theft. I don't believe that just an accusation should result in assault of anyone. I've already brought this up once with management and will do so again.

  Not enough canadian products, they say they really stand by canada, and yet they see far too many american products. If you go to walmart, they have many, many more canadian or import products. So wonder who's telling the truth pricing is only okay

  Much better than neighboring grocery store of Made in Canada. Shoppers should note and we'll done save-on. Keep it up

  I was shopping today at Save on 6th street when I was assisted by an extremely rude cashier, name Vangie. We were trying to match an item with a coupon and she rejected it. We are OK to hear the real reason for it and that should’ve been fine but she added that we are double dipping if you’re getting a coupon on top of it. At the end of the transaction, she added there you go … you still saved a lot of money and I said well I could’ve saved more if I could use a coupon with matching prices. She replied don’t be greedy in front of other customers lined up. I was shocked with her unnecessary extremely rude comment from a cashier to a customer! This is not an acceptable come back at all. There is a much better and nicer way to explain it to a customer. I already agreed and even said rule is rule so it’s ok. Vangie, the cashier was not only rude but disrespectful and tactless to customers. There is no need to add additional stupid comments that are inappropriate!!!! She needs to be re trained on how to deal with customers!!!! To add she never said hello and thank you to us … unfriendly cashier!!! I went to another Save On branch and the cashier matched and accepted my coupon without any questions asked. A super friendly and a nice cashier … that is how a cashier should be towards a customer! Great customer service we received from another Save on store 👍👏. 6th street store 👎🏻

  Kind staff, but the produce section is abysmal. Wilted, drab and almost all imported from the USA, even the stuff we grow locally by the truckload is dwarfed by American produce: apples, berries, carrots, potatoes, garlic, etc. Lines often develop up front as though nobody has a handle on how many people have entered the store. Does their gate counter not work? Are waves not predictable to them or am I gifted with some kind of predictive logic no one else in the store has experienced? Dudes from Produce or Grocery - and for some reason staff in those departments are ~95% male - must see lines developing given they're within earshot, yet sometimes stand off to the side chatting, oblivious to 5-deep lines and the non-stop work of the cashiers. Who really does the heavy lifting? Conversations with the cashiers are the only reason I ever shop here. They're the sweetest people.
