  I usually order birthday cakes from Country Grocer as I've found they are consistency high quality and good value. However, this year for convenience, I ordered from Save on. I gave specific instructions for vanilla with white icing and sprinkles to match my daughter's birthday theme. The orange and brown ones were the ones I was given.The staff member tried to play it off like I ordered this way ( these also matched the ones in their display cabinet, which I presume, meant they forgot to complete my order). When I told him that no, I didn't order the ones provided, he said, 'what, you don't want them?'. As I was running to pick up my girl for her birthday, I said I didn't have time and would have to take them. He offered a feeble sorry as I walked away, no discount and no accountability. That was the first and last time I stray from CG.

  Super useful Save-on that was close to the Ferry Terminal. Perfect for a last stop as we headed to our camping spot! Good selection of ready to eat food on the way back to the Ferry Terminal as well!

  I bought some maderins and some peppers. The same day I tried to eat them but they had mold and were groce. Biggest waste of money.

  Your money can be easily stolen if you are not careful here. Tuesday July 14: I bought a bag of cherries and they overcharged me by $12. Had to go to customer service to get it back. Friday July 17: They overcharged me by $3 on 2 packs of ice cream. This time there was no customer service on shift so I couldn't get it back. I'm being told by a self checkout staff that in store specials may not be available at self checkout!
