  If you are Asian presenting, you will be ignored and overlooked in this store. Both times that I have visited, the staff deliberately avoided my ask for help and eye contact, while greeting other customers pleasantly. I speak fluent English, yet am still overlooked and they do not greet you back. Both times staff only acknowledged me after I actively flagged them down, which is not the case for other customers, and they were not polite and did not smile, making me feel like a bother. This is truly disappointing.

  I was served at checkout Monday evening by a lovely intelligent young lady. She was sincerely inquiring into my purchase with a genuine and caring attitude. It gave me a whole renewed hope for our future. Great job Bella 🙂

  Normally have good experiences at the store but the meat manager on Sunday would not price match a roast from Canadian superstore because it 'might' be American. Left all my stuff, walked out. Never had that problem before likely won't be back. Edit! I heard from management, received an apology and a $25 gift card for my trouble. Good enough for me.

  Giving them 5 stars because the customer service is good. I shop there despite the prices being higher because my most valuable asset is my time and I won’t shop at stores without cashiers and/or long line ups. No way I’m standing more than 5 minutes to give a business my money for their products and Save on is on point with this, often there is no wait and THAT wins my business. Bakery is cheap with fillings, unfortunately the cheesecake has almost no cheese in it so I don’t buy bakery items, but that’s probably best for my health anyways, still gets 5 stars because the customer service makes up for it
