  This is in regards to an incident today and how it was handled. I was driving by at exactly 7:57am. A couple in their late 20s to early 30s walked out of the store and stole a couple of pots of plants. I am sure they didn't pay ahead of time or anything as they started first walk away from the store. Stopped. Looked around for people (obviously didn't see me) grabbed plants and walked away. I called the store within 5 minutes. The young sounding person who answered didn't seem to give a rats ass. She asked me zero questions nor transfer me to a security type person. So I just went on to describe the couple, both dressed in over sized black gym wear. He has on a dark baseball cap and had the typical Nanaimo beard. She had long blonde hair. Again clerk didn't ask anything or cared at all. Didn't seem like she was taking notes. It was was like, okay thanks bye. Very strange. Would add, now that I've read through other reviews, it's seems the answer is always call or email the store for a response. It would be super helpful and better service for all, to say how the customers complaints were handled in the stores response.All we see is the complaint but not the resolution. So we as consumers have no idea if the complaint was handled and how. A weird way to handle reviews.

  Wee, you don't really save unless you're buying the specials. But it's still a great place to shop. Always clean and tidy, and the staff will not disappoint.

  Although this is my go-to food store, it’s far more expensive than it ought to be. Selling a box of cans of flavoured fizzy water for $6-8 is beyond ridiculous… but I will say that the store is often clean and not too busy, and has a pretty good selection. But I’ve found other stores selling the same items for way cheaper, so I think they’re price-gouging a little too much and need to focus less on selling foods that are mass-produced, non-organic, GMOs, because that’s like 90% of their stock and it’s always tasteless and unappetizing and very unhealthy.
