  I have been going to this Save on Foods for years and haven’t ever had a problem until the last few weeks. I had some amazing experiences with a kind fellow named Christian who would always help if I ever needed it, however one of the cashiers is quite rude and unkind when buying your items. This is the second time she has acted like this towards me It seems that she is rude to most customers as I witnessed her not fully hear an elderly women’s Save On Foods Rewards number and then ask for it again while rolling her eyes because she didn’t hear it the first time. The cashiers name was Marilyn

  Once again going to save on for some bakery sale items....funny how e ery single save on foods end up not having any items ready for the sale ...90% of the time ... this is at 10 am store only open since 7 ....but always tons of regular priced items ....staff is ok ...but not very knowledgeable...and I also agree about brookslanding store very poor sevice and quality ...i drive to the other store about 10 mins further away because of there crap sevice

  I walked into the store with a couple of friends to buy milk which we needed for a trip the following day and the store was about to close so we couldn’t go anywhere else, as we were looking for the milk we saw some pool noodles and my friend picked one up and tapped me on the back with it then put it back. We kept walking to get the milk and then we heard a worker start screaming at us and telling us to leave, he even ran to us like he was trying to chase us then we grabbed the milk and he proceeded to snatch the milk out of my friends hand and continue screaming in our faces. He was being very rude over a small issue, he could have simply asked us to not touch the pool noodles but instead he escorted us out of the store. Just because we’re teenagers does not mean you can take your anger out on us because you work at save on foods.

  Nicest staff of any grocery stores in Nanaimo. Going through the till always cheers me up! And quality is sold here.

  I wanted to leave 5 stars for Addison in the bakery. She took time out of her busy morning after a power outage to check for cheesecake in the back, all while being friendly. 10/10 interaction that saved my day. Thank you!
