Overpriced. Server was sarcastic and rude. He never offered coffee and dessert after the meal and just brought us the bill. We wanted dessert to go. We ordered one of the platters and we were told to upgrade and when we did, for the extra 12$, all we got was a few extra ribs, no extra side. The ribs were actually not too bad. Just not a great experience

I almost never leave bad reviews, but yesterday was incredibly disappointing. My dad’s favourite ribs are from Montana’s, so for his birthday I reserved a table at the Langley location specifically for the all you can eat ribs promotion. I drove from West Vancouver to Langley to celebrate with him. Because today is a holiday and I expected it to be busy, I called ahead around 11 a.m. to confirm the promotion was still being offered. I was told absolutely, yes. When we arrived, the host told us they were running low on ribs, so the promotion might not truly be unlimited. I was disappointed but understood. As long as my dad could have a few racks for his birthday, that was fine. Once we were seated, however, our server told us they were no longer offering the all you can eat promotion at all, but customers could still purchase additional racks individually. In fact the server told us we could order "as much as we want", but we have to pay for each rack....? That made no sense to me. If the issue was genuinely that they were running out of ribs, why could guests continue ordering more as long as they paid for each rack? It felt disingenuous and left us wondering whether the restaurant had simply decided the promotion was no longer financially feasible. We then spoke with a floor manager, who told us they only had two racks left. At that point, we did not know what to believe because we had received several different explanations. I also think it was incredibly irresponsible not to plan inventory and staffing appropriately for an all you can eat promotion on a holiday when high demand was completely predictable. I felt terrible for the host, who appeared to be dealing with several parties alone and was visibly overwhelmed. Most frustratingly, if the restaurant could no longer honour the promotion, why were guests not told before being seated? I had a reservation and had specifically called that same day to confirm it. Had I been told over the phone or when we arrived, we could have made other plans. Instead, we drove all that way, waited, sat down, and only then found out. There was also very little effort made to acknowledge the inconvenience or make the situation right, so we left. Very disappointing, especially for what was supposed to be a special birthday dinner for my dad.

We had a great experience at Montanas this past weekend. In particular I wanted to mention our server Erika whom I found very attentive and kind. She took the time go over the menu and offer suggestions, was patient as we ordered drinks and frequently changed our order and quick to grab extra cutlery, water etc. My dad did not eat beef, and Erika recommended other options. He had also ordered gravy which turned out to be beef gravy and Erika took the time to come back to our table and inform my dad. It may seem little, but I thought that gesture was quite thoughtful as not eating beef is a religious belief. Thanks for a great evening.

I absolutely loved my experience at Montana's. I ordered the PitMaster Combo, and the beef brisket was so so juicy and delicious! Was exactly what I was looking for. That's the one that's frequently on the TV commercials right now :) There's so many great things to choose on the Menu! I also ordered the Pot Roast Soup, sooo satisfying, soo good. I stayed on past 2 hours to watch some football while I was there, and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The entire place has a very welcome cozy experience, the music and decorations are fitting, and the servers and staff are fast and friendly. Big TVs are present for sports fans, and Loud Birthday Singing happened a few times; In Particular Roman the BarKeep was a fantastic Server and Singer for the Birthday Folks (was fun to watch, and brief) complete with a giant Moose Helmet for the Birthday person, and Nicolette was my speedy, very fun and welcome Server, Whom I was lucky to attend me. All the Staff were smiles and attentive, including the management checking that everything was good (was great! thank-you) Can't wait for my future visits, would highly recommend. Also - Free Parking! :) in an Area of great local shops.
