As soon as the manager came to our table, he had an attitude. He was being very aggressive. We all work in service based systems, and 2 members of our group either worked in bartender roles for 2 years or are currently bartending. We voiced our opinions that they were sour and tasted rotten, specifically like fruits that have been sitting out for hours. The manager then goes and mentions that it’s his wife doing them so he knows they’re good, making the business personal, when it didn’t have to be. Yes we do know about drinks being different in different places, we were not complaining about that, we were complaining about the taste and the quality of the drinks being such high priced. We didn’t feel welcomed anymore, told the manager this and said we’ll just pay and leave, as he told us that if we decide to get another one, we would have to pay for that as well. And to the lady that came to our table and said she’s going to call the cops because she assumed we weren’t going to pay, we see you and the racism. If we were not going to pay, we would’ve immediately stood up and not sit there and wait for the 5 minutes we did after the altercation. Here’s one of our receipts from Original Joe. We went to another restaurant, and here’s all our receipts too. 😘. *We also took a recording as we were not feeling safe as the only black group in this restaurant.* *We thanked and tipped the waiter still. She treated us good.* *Thank you to Korean BBQ Gui. Amazing food.*

We complained about our drinks not tasting good, I’ve worked in customer service and bartended before and I know what you’re supposed to do and how drinks will generally taste even if it’s in a different place. The manager was hostile, rude and didn’t want to listen to what we had to say. After we asked the manager to just pay for our drinks and leave; I’m assuming once again it was his wife, threatened to call the cops on us because she assumed we were dining and dashing… seriously?? I really hope they work on their customer service skills because this was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Thank you to our waitress for her kind service! She’s such a sweetheart. I wish I knew her name.

Manager came to our table already aggressive and we tried to explain to him that we couldn't drink them and he kept arguing with us. We asked to just pay for the drinks and canceled our orders, and then they started threatening to call the cops for no reason. Our waitress was really sweet, manager and his wife have a disgusting attitude.
