- EGEmiya Gukgijjada2 days ago1.0Extremely disappointed with the service and food quality: I stopped by this Subway location in Hope on my way home from Kelowna, and I am incredibly disappointed with the customer service and the quality of the food. From the moment I walked in, the two female staff members taking my order were grumbling, complaining, and noticeably unfriendly. They were being extremely stingy with the vegetables, trying to put as little as possible. When I politely asked for a few more veggies, instead of answering me properly, they looked at each other, started speaking in their own language, and made visibly annoyed faces. On top of the terrible attitude, the overall size of the sandwich was noticeably smaller than usual. It felt like they were actively trying to skimp on everything. I visit Subway often, but I have never experienced anything like this before. I want to make it absolutely clear that this is not about race—I work closely with many Indo-Canadians and have nothing but respect for them. Other Subway locations I visit are always friendly and generous. This is strictly about the awful service and subpar food at this specific Hope location. Being treated this way left a really bad taste in my mouth, and I will definitely not be coming back.
